'Hauptweg und Nebenwege' is one of Paul Klee's best-known paintings. It belongs to the group of his numerous layer and stripe paintings and was created in January 1929 after Klee's second trip to Egypt. In it, he processes his experiences of light and colour there - the atmospheric key to understanding an ancient culture. The blue of the Nile, the yellow-orange of the Egyptian sun and the layers of colour of the ornamental bands in the burial chambers of Assuan. Original: 1929, oil on canvas, 83 x 67 cm, Museum Ludwig, Cologne. The two-level reproduction shown here impressively directs the viewer's gaze to the central message of the painting. This modern method of reproduction on acrylic glass enables a high level of colour brilliance and at the same time creates an unprecedented presence in the room. Classics of art history become modern spatial objects here.Dimension 2: Reproduction on 2 levels on aluminium dibond behind 3 mm thick acrylic glass, limited to 499 copies and numbered. Total size 96 x 75 cm (H/W). Detail 2nd level 84 x 26 cm (H/W). With hanging device. Due to the smooth surface, mirror effects may occur depending on the incidence of light.

Klee appreciated the originality of children's drawings and described them as 'instructive examples'. The 'Adventure Ship' shows a simultaneous depiction that is also frequently chosen by children, namely the simultaneous depiction of the inside and outside ('X-ray image'). The depiction of space and the filling of the surface also seem to be inspired by children's drawings. Original: Mixed media on cardboard, Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich. High-quality reproduction in fine art giclée process, worked by hand on canvas and stretched on stretcher frame. Limited edition of 499 copies. Framed in a black and silver-coloured solid wood frame. Size 67 x 100 cm (H/W). ars mundi exclusive edition.
