While Monet painted numerous portraits of his first wife Camille, this work is one of the few in which he portrayed his later wife Alice Hoschedé. Original: 1881, oil on canvas, 81 x 65 cm, privately owned. Edition transferred directly onto artist's canvas using the fine art giclée process and stretched onto a stretcher frame. Limited edition of 980 copies, numbered, with certificate. Framed in handcrafted, white-gold-coloured solid wood frame. Format 68 x 56 cm (H/W). ars mundi exclusive edition.
