In addition to the water lily pictures, Monet painted several pictures in his water garden entitled 'The Japanese Bridge'. Claude Monet had the bridge built in the Japanese style. It was mainly because of this bridge that the water garden was nicknamed the 'Japanese Garden'. Original: privately owned.
